Main Stage SERIES
Our Main Stage Series kicks off Oct. 19 with world-renowned mentalist Wayne Hoffman, who will have you on the edge of your seat with his mind-reading and comedy show, Mind Candy. In December, dust off your ugly holiday garb and join us for the return of Six Appeal Vocal Band and their Ugly Sweater Party on Dec. 14. Enjoy an evening of original and classic holiday tunes re-imagined only the way Six Appeal can! On Feb. 15, violinist Tami Lee Hughes will share The Legacy Show, an incredible multimedia performance celebrating African-American composers, performed with pianist Byron Burford-Phearse. Our season closes on April 18 with Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, a unique hybrid of vaudeville, circus, comedy and music that is sure to please every member of the family!
All shows are Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. in the Richard E. Rauh Theater. Individual show tickets are $24-$30 and a three- or four-show Main Stage Series subscription is $63-$100.
Black Box Series
Our Black Box Series kicks off Sept. 28 with Grammy Award-winning musician Dom Flemons. With a repetoire that spans over 100 years of cross-genre music as well as original songs, Flemons promises an evening that shares how he earned the name “The American Songster.” On Nov. 16, we welcome jazz pianist and vocalist Ariel Pocock for an intimate evening of original music. This innovative songwriter draws inspiration from many genres, including Brazilian and Cuban folk music and modern jazz, which will be showcased in an acoustic piano and guitar duo. On March 14, just in time for St. Patrick's Day, the band Blackwater closes out the Black Box Series with its high-energy brand of Celtic music that blends folk, classical and contemporary influences into a unique and dynamic sound.
All shows are Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. in the Peter J. Kountz Theater. Individual show tickets are $20 and a three-show Black Box Series subscription is only $50.
